Meet the panelists: Hailey, Leonardo, Aidan, Austin, Ibrahim
Hailey is a sophomore from Frisco, Texas in the Dwight Look College of Engineering at Texas A&M University. She is pursuing a Bachelor's in Aerospace Engineering and minors in Mathematics and Astrophysics. She hopes to work in the field of space exploration after she graduates. Outside of school, she enjoys playing the guitar and cello, watching movies, and going to concerts.
Leonardo is a Junior from Cypress, Texas in the College of Engineering. He is pursuing a Bachelor's in Computer Science. Leonardo is an active member of the Aggie Coding Club and Filipino Student Association. Outside of school, he enjoys learning new songs on the piano, playing volleyball, and watching Netflix.
Aidan is a sophomore from Houston Texans. Aidan is majoring in technology management, with a minor in business. He is also an avid member of the Texas A&M Singing Cadets, an all men’s choir affiliated with the university.
Austin is a sophomore from Houston, Texas in the College of Liberal Arts. He is pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with an Honors Fellows Distinction at Texas A&M University. Austin is an active member of Lions International, Aggie Eco-Reps, Pre-Law Society, and works as a research assistant at A&M's Language and Cognition Laboratory. Outside of school, he enjoys skateboarding, reading, and making digital artwork.
Ibrahim is a sophomore at Texas A and M University, in the school of engineering. He is perusing a bachelor’s in chemical engineering. He is a teaching assistant for an elementary engineering course, and a board member of Palestinian solidarity committee. Outside of of school he enjoys traveling and performing martial arts.

Work Experience: I got my PhD in history from Boston University in 2020. I have worked as a researcher and writer for a Boston-based policy center and am a freelance editor.
My Admissions Story: I remember the admissions process as a time to imagine possible futures (where to live? what to study? who to meet?), though am happy to report (as you can see from my bio) that few of those decisions were set in stone. So have fun and enjoy the ride!
