Meet the panelists: Neha, Dora, Karina
Neha is a junior from Chicago Illinois in the College of Arts in Sciences. She is pursuing a double major in Neuroscience and Classics on the pre-med track. Neha is a captian of Wash U Bhangra, Secretary of GirlUp WashU, active member of PESTL and Our chance to dance, a non profit that teaches dance to deaf kids. Outside of school she enjoys taking dance classes, traveling, and reading anything she can get her hands on.
Dora is a junior originally from San Diego, California, but is now living in Chicago when she is not studying at Washington University in St. Louis. She is pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Neuroscience and will be applying to medical school this spring. Dora started her own club, a chapter of Save a Child’s Heart (a medical nonprofit that performs pro-bono heart surgeries to children around the world), a works in a Neuroscience and Genetics Lab part-time. Outside of school, she enjoys watching movies, hanging out with her friends, and traveling.
Karina, a current junior at Washington University in St. Louis from Pleasanton, California, is pursuing a major in Neuroscience and a minor in Psychology. Karina is President of her a capella group, Sur Taal Laya, Health Clinic Chair of Partners in East St. Louis, Director of Outreach for a nonprofit, Artists for Hope, and is involved in research at a neuroimaging lab at WashU Medical School. Outside of school, she loves to sing, play the ukulele and piano, spend time with friends and family, and travel.
