Meet the panelists: Baron, Oishee, Jacques, Laura

Baron is a sophomore at the University of Chicago double majoring in Economics and Statistics with a minor in Music. Currently, Baron is an undergraduate research assistant at the Booth School of Business and active member of Derivatives Group Quant Trading (DGQT) on campus. Outside of academics, Baron enjoys jamming out on the piano, lifting, and drinking boba with friends.

Oishee is a rising second year at the University of Chicago. She has taken part in several RSOs including South Asian Students Association and Women's Ensemble. In her free time, Oishee enjoys singing, playing the piano, reading, and swimming.

Jacques is a senior from Palo Alto, California, and is double majoring in physics and cinema/media studies. Jacques is an active member in Film/theatre production companies on campus - having written and directed for both University Theatre and Fire Escape Films. He is currently pursuing a career in media production. In his free time, Jacques enjoys drawing, playing Dungeons and Dragons, and consuming media. He isn’t used to writing in the third person.

Laura is a third year pre-med student from Palo Alto, CA. She pursuing a double major in Chemistry and Music. Laura is active in on-campus cancer research, tutors underclassmen in biology and chemistry, and volunteers at the UChicago Medical Center. Laura is an active member of the UChicago Piano Program, a board member of the UChicago Taiwanese American Student Association. Outside of school, she enjoys cooking, cycling, and exploring Chicago.
