About this livestream
Description
Are you a junior in high school? Are you dreading the thought of starting your college applications? Well don't! Have no fear.. Christopher Kilner is here!
Christopher will discuss how to best start your applications in junior year. He will be speaking on the virtues of starting early, what you can get started on and what you can look forward to in this important next step of your life.
Christopher is one of the most accomplished college students of the past decade, winning multiple international accolades: Mitchell Scholar, Goldwater Scholar, Rhodes Scholar Finalist, and Marshall Scholar Finalist. He has worked with over 80 students over the past 5 years as an advisor. Over just the past 3 years, Christopher's clients have earned over $1.5 Million in scholarships to schools such as Carnegie Mellon, Princeton, Duke, Fordham, and University of Scranton. While Christopher is honored to have received his many titles and accolades, the college experience was so much more and this is why he wants to help all students achieve their potential at their dream school! As a triple major who went to undergrad at a smaller school on a scholarship, then lived in Ireland while attending Trinity College, and now pursues a PhD at Duke University, Christopher has experience at schools ranging from the small to the big, the close-knit to the prestigious. As an international fellow, Christopher has vast experience in interview preparation and essay writing; as an advisor and application reader to these competitive fellowships, he has a keen eye on how to find the narrative in an applicants story!
